Dear Johns Hopkins alumni and friends,
In April, the world was the time when cherry blossoms flew in the past; now the new coronavirus is raging around the world, and the number of diagnoses has exceeded 1 million in recent days! All parts of the world are uniting to deal with this global outbreak.
Our alma mater has been at the forefront of responding to the new coronavirus outbreak in global public health, infectious disease medicine and emergency preparedness. Our universities and hospitals are specializing in the field, leading and coordinating global efforts to support countries, cooperative institutions to prevent, detect and respond to pandemics.
“Born for innovation, let future heroes meet early”, Hopkins Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club is based on various campuses and alumni around the world, committed to creating “Hope Huafeng” this global life health and high-tech field Innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Over the years, “Hope Huafeng ” has become the Hopkins campus and alumni community, with the longest history, the largest scale, and the most sustainable professional entrepreneurial innovation organization; it is the cradle of alumni innovation and entrepreneurship. Proud!

The teams related to the Hopkins Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club (The Hopkins Club, the same below) are focusing on innovative technologies in the professional field and standing at the forefront of fighting against the new corona with universities and hospitals.
Hopkins epidemic map, club data team volunteers participate in system maintenance and data management (JHU / CSSE)
At present, we have completed or are working on a number of forward-looking and influential projects:

The platform came online in mid-March and was the first comprehensive platform for the epidemic in the Hopkins community (including alumni, universities, hospitals, public health colleges and other departments). It has successfully completed more than ten targeted department support and participated in Coordinate donated materials such as surgical masks, N95, face shields and more than 10,000 pieces! Recruited more than 100 volunteers for professional technical, data analysis or material matching tasks, and assisted in the qualification review of manufacturers such as supply chain document translation.
It is worth noting that our platform is an open platform, and we have the spare capacity to support other medical institutions. “There is no distinction between east, west, south, and north.” Even New York has our alumni and our battlefield!
